Obituary

Aaron Lewis Ganner was born on January 15, 1931.  He departed this life on May 15, 2023 in Pontiac, Michigan.

Mr. Ganner served in the Army in the Korean War from 1951-1953 with an honorable discharged.  He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his only granddaughter; Kenyotta Gilmore, 3 great-grandchildren; Khalil Ellison, Armoan Washington and Ja'Mere Barnes, 3 great-great-grandchildren, special nephews; Johnny Greene, Jr., and Jeffrey Dickerson, special friends; Archie Bell, Sr., Ronnie Gracey, Sr., Alonzo Bobo, Luther Daniels and Perry Williams, Sr.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Darlene Ganner, his parents; Lucinda and Willis Ganner, his son; Aaron McConner, all 19 of his siblings; TV, Mary, Minnie, Stella, Pearl, Arthur, Will, Ollie, Dennis, Elizabeth, Leroy, Thelma, Otis, Robert, Romie, John, Nioba, LeEthel and Thomas.

Mr. Ganner will lie in repose Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Cobb's Funeral Home, 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. From 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, family hour will start at 10:00am and service will  begin at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
