Alfred Childs of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on October 27, 2018.  He leaves to cherish his memories sons, Deon (Sherry) Metoyer and Alfred (Kristi) Childs, grandchildren, Deon Metoyer, Jr., Markell Metoyer, Ijeoma Metoyer, Chantise Childs, MarJhon Metoyer,  Kawain Childs, five great grandchildren;  Mother,  Lavata Meadows; Brother, Johnnie (Betty) Childs, Sr., Sisters, Wendy Robinson, Linda ( Dave) Williamson, nieces, Derricka (Warren) Black, Dalindra Williamson; Nephew, Damon (Iris) Childs, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Child's will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 12 p.m. at Providence Missionary Baptist Church 299 Bagley., Pontiac, Michigan.  The family will meet with friends at 11:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
