With love and gratitude for a beautiful life, we celebrate Angelita Marie Rivera, also known as Susie, who entered eternal rest on April 8, 2026, at the age of 53.  Born on November 20, 1972, and raised in Pontiac, Michigan.

Angelita received her education through the Pontiac School System, graduating from Pontiac Northern High School in 1990.  She dedicated many years of service to DTE, where she built a respected career through hard work and commitment.

Angelita lived a life rooted in faith, family, laughter and love.  A  true child of the Lord, Angelita not only knew the Word of God, but lived it daily.  She enjoyed coloring, favorite color purple, enjoyed a peaceful drive around the park and she had a special gift for cooking.

She leaves to honor and celebrate her life her beloved sons, Anthony Rivera, Rayvon Rivera, and Isaiah Rivera; her daughter in laws, Tatiana and Jasmine; her cherished grandchildren, Nyome, Dominic, and Aida, step-son; Kendall Beeler, III, her cousins, Debbie, Laurie, Anita, Yomar, Yomaira, Luie, and their children; her uncle, Octavio Rivera (Sylvia); four stepsisters and two stepbrothers; her godchildren, LaQuasia Jones, Diamond Hannah, and Serenity Wright, her second "mom," Mary Hudson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors, family friends, and other loved ones.

She was joyfully reunited in eternal peace with her grandparents, Angel and Leonor Rivera, William Belcher and Dorothy Moore, parents, Carlos Rivera and Marie Russell-Smith; her stepfather, Jimmie Smith; her brother, John Bozarth; and her nephew, Nate Hamilton..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 1:00pm until 2:00 pm.  Service will immediately start at 2:00pm.

Repass will be held at the Pontiac Night Riders 339 Raeburn St. Pontiac, Michigan, from 4:00pm til 8:00pm.
