Audrey Lee Washington was born August 15, 1944 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Peno and Irene Washington.  Audrey received Christ at an early age.  She attended Pontiac Schools and received a Culinary Certificate which allowed her to persue her love for catering.

Audrey  departed this life on December 10, 2020.  She leaves to cherish her memory, loving son and Daughter-in-law, Lawrence "Terrell" (Shelia) Washington in Thompsons Station, Tennessee, and Rodney Washington in Pontiac, Michigan.  Four grandsons; Jamall (Rhonda) Hayden, Dominique (Alexandra) Washington, Andre Washington and Lawrence Washington Jr., one granddaughter, Loretta Washington,  and four great-grandchildren.  She also leaves two sisters; Edna Henry, Delores (Robert) Owens, one brother; Peno (Laurita) Washington, Jr., all in Pontiac, Michigan and a host of well-loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   Special nephews; Roderick Owens, and DeRonn Washington.  Special Nieces; Debra Mabson, Shavonne Washington, Cassandra Alexander and Daria Preacher.  Dear Cousins; Lynn Dawson (Michigan), Charlie Dawson, Katie Butler, Ethel Mae Hawkins, Don Whitner (All in Louisiana), Pauline Chinn (Texas) and Rosemary Graham (Tennessee).  Special friends; Andrew Cosby, Barbara, Larry and Margot Epstein and family.

Preceding her in death, her parents; Peno and Irene Washington, four brothers; Joe, James, Willie and Roosevelt "Tulu" and three sisters; Ida Mae, Vera and Wanda.

Audrey loved spending time with her family, cooking and helping others.  She had a beautiful smile and infectious laugh, she will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Washington will lie in repose on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Cobb's Funeral 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until  4 p.m.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home.  Family hour will start at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
