Advanced Senior Mother Betty Marie (Green) Johnson was born October 9, 1933 in Mount Sterling Kentucky and departed this life on June 5, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Avanced Presiding Elder Alfred Johnson, two sons; Phillip and Daniel Johnson, siblings; Angela Scott, Phoebe Burns Davis, Thelma Coleman, Clemens Greene, James Greene and Nora Ferguson.

She united with the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in 1949.  When she joined, she took on the teachings of the Lord.  Mother Betty graduated Oakland University and received a teacher certificate in 1974 and worked for Pontiac School District.

Left to cherish her memory are; son Deacon Mark (Elderess Kema) Johnson, one sister Elderess Carolyn Green, one brother, Mr. Joe Louis Greene, four grandchildren, Mr. Kenna (Kristi) and Miss Danielle Thomas, Bro. Shiloh and Bro Caleb Johnson, six great grand, and one great-great grand.  Also left to cherish her memory; one sister-in-law Advanced Senior Mother Marion Jones.

Mrs. Johnson will lie in repose on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm- 6:00pm.

Internment will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11:00am at Perry Mount Park Cemetery 878 N. Perry St., Pontiac, MI.  Leaving Cobb's Funeral Home at 10:45am in procession.
