Obituary

On Friday, May 17, 2024, at 9:51 PM, the Lord spoke to Larry and said.  "My good and faithful servant, come unto me and rest".  Larry knew that he had done all that the Lord had guided him to do and without any thought, he complied and took his rest.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Heywood Donny Williams and Margaret Crudup, siblings, Theresa, Valerie, Ruth Anna and Darryl and his loving wife, Katrina.

Larry leaves his legacy; 6 children; Theresa, Larry (Eugenia), Reagan (Lia), Marcus (DeLisa), and Deshawn (Raquel);  9 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, siblings; James, Phyllis, Beverly and Arlene; a host of nieces and nephews, other family members and friends and a surrogate brother, Bishop Antonio Gibson, who cared for him faithfully until he made his transition.

Bishop Larry H. Williams will lie in repose on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Temple of St. Jude Spiritual Church of Christ 8747 Fenkell, Detroit, Michigan, from 12:00pm until 7:00pm. Evening Service will start at 7PM - 8:30pm.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 10:00am at Temple of St. Jude Spiritual Church of Christ 8747 Fenkell, Detroit, Michigan.  Internment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Vandyke & McNichols, Detroit, MI.
