Callie "Nanny" Pembroke of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on June 10, 2019, she was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ella and Will Brown also her brothers, Earnest Bryant, Sr. and Clarence Jackson.   She leaves to cherish her memories her Daughter; Leola (Harold) Henderson, her granddaughter Angela (Terrance) Montgomery, two great-grandchildren Siakara Cooper and KaDont'e Roberts.  Also survived by a host of other loving Nephews & Nieces Earnest (Brenda), Termaine, Amy, Bay Bryant and Karen James.

Callie was affectionately called "Nanny".  She worked at General Motors as an Assembler.  She was a member and attended Christian Missionary Baptist Church in Pontiac, Michigan.

Callie "Nanny" Pembroke will lie in repose on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.    Callie "Nanny" Pembroke's Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Christian Missionary Baptist Church 238 Mechanic St., Pontiac, Michigan, Rev Harold C. Henderson officiating.  The family will meet with friends at 10:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.   She will be laid to rest at Perry Mt Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
