Candace Lee Johnson of Pontiac, MI, made her transition on Thursday, December 21, 2023.  She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Bro. Herman Wesley (King) and Mother Lennie Mae King.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry Johnson, Sr., brother; Cecil King, brother-in-laws, Donald Durson, Johnathan Edwards, George Butts, Thomas Palmer and Ernest Johnson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Mother-in-law, Ruby Johnson, daughters, Chanda (Lonnie) Turner and Lara Johnson, son's, Larry Johnson, Jr., Ernest C. Johnson, Alexander (Ke'Arra) Johnson, grandchildren, Alexis Turner, Queen Turner, Princess Turner, Cyruss Mouzon, Ya'Kerra Johnson and Kyndal (Emmanuel) Killebrew, great grandchildren, Dwayne Griggs, Kaydence Killebrew, Emanuel Killebrew, II, and Ayvion Jefferson-Killebrew, siblings; Esther Butts of Dayton Beach, FL., Eunice Edwards of Tampa, FL., Abigail Durson of Coschocton, Ohio., Anna Ruth (George) Smith of Lakeland, FL., John (Dorothy) King of Milwaukee, WI., Deborah (Donald) Murray of Pontiac, MI., Cecilia Jones of Auburn Hills, MI., James (Ramona) King of Coshocton, OH., Stephen (Barbara) King of Coshocton, OH., Michael (Annie) King of Ludington, MI., Morris Johnson, Cornelius Johnson, Michael Johnson and Anthony (Bernice) Johnson.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mrs. Johnson will lie in repose on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Mich, from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church 351 Prospect St. Pontiac, Michigan.  Rev. Derrick McDonald, Host Pastor, Rev. Darren Johnson, Sr Eulogist.  Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will start at 11:00am.
