Carl Lee Bonds was born to the union of Willie  B. Bonds and the late Julius Bonds in Henning, Tennessee.   His parents relocated to Pontiac, Michigan when he was very young.

Carl Graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1974 there after he went into the Marines, he also worked at Marble Renaissance and Bill Knapps for over twenty years.  Carl loved attending family gatherings, cookouts, taking long walks, listening to his music thru his headphones and loved watching sports on tv.

Carl Lee Bonds made his transition on February 24, 2020 in Pontiac, Michigan.  He leaves to cherish his memories;  his mother, Willie  B. Bonds, his siblings;  Shirley A. Tate, Paul L. Bonds,  Lucetry Dalton, Lillie J. Bonds, Tammy D. Bonds and Lessie S. Bonds.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Bonds will lie in repose on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. the family will greet from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m..  A Celebration of Life for Carl Lee Bonds will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel, family hour will start at 12:30 p.m.
