Carla Jean George of Pontiac, Michigan, made her transition on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, surrounded with family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Claude House and Tommie Lee George, siblings; Sally Brown, William George, Samuel George and Tony Barnes.

Carla confessed her belief in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, early in life.  As she continued on with her life, she continued to grow in Grace and Faith, she was a happy and friendly person.  She attended Pontiac Schools and graduated from Pontiac Central High School, after high school Carla worked odd jobs, but her passion was caring for children, so she started a in home Day Care.  Her spiritual call was to be a helper, and she touched so many lives, she helped so many people, her family, friends, and strangers.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children; Garisha (Robert II) McGee and DaJuan George, grandchildren; Champelle, JaVarea, Kahni, and Robert McGee, III, 4 great-grandsons, her special great-grandson; Ray'mere Bridges, siblings; Brenda (Vince ) Sherrell, Linda Rice, Crystal (Anthony) Wells and Tomothy Mitchell, her twin cousin Selvy Hall, sister-in-law; Pauline George, special friend Glovell Grandberry and her BFF Lee Bell.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Home going Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will start at 11:00am and the service will start at 12:00pm.
