Carla Diane Snell of Novi, Michigan (formerly of Pontiac, Michigan), departed this life on October 22, 2023, at the ae of 64.

She was born in Denton, Texas to the union of the late Birtie Mae Pitts and Wade Edward Pitts.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother; Alonzo Black.

She leave to cherish her memory her children; Deon Pitts, Keasha Pitts, Marquisha Snell, sisters; Clara Pitts, Birtie (Frederick) Acumby), Pink (Ousman) Jallous, and Sonya (Jarvis) Pitts, grandchildren; Dasa and Savon Pitts, Kemarre & Kiarra Pitts, Marquse, Marrion, Lee J. Levi and her favorite uncle; Joseph Black, (Fay Lillie Moturi) of Denton, Texas.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Carla received Christ at an early age, under the leadership of Pastor ET Clark and later became a faithful member of True Church House of Prayer, under the leadership of IH Davis, she loved singing in choir.  Carla received her education in the Pontiac School District, graduating from High School in 1978.

A Family Gathering and Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  From 10:am until 12:30 pm.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
