Carolyn Jane Carpenter of Pontiac, departed this life on January 5, 2018. She is the wife of the late William Howard Carpenter, the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Rosie L. Bogan. Mrs. Carpenter is the mother of; Colleen Carpenter, Marshelle Carpenter, Dominic Carpenter, Frank (Sandy) Wilson, Sr. Esquerita (Kenneth) Carpenter-King the late Gerald Reed and LaShay Carpenter. Sister of; Bessie Davis,
Blanche Teasley and Tommi Stephens. Grandmother
of sixteen and Great Grandmother of ten. Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mrs. Carpenter worked as an LPN. She worked at Pontiac General Hospital for over 30 years. She was a lifetime member at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan.

Mrs. Carolyn Jane Carpenter will lie in repose on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. From 12pm until 8pm. Mrs. Carpenter's celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018, 11am at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church 143 Oneida St. Pontiac, Michigan. The family will meet with friends at 10:30am at the church prior to the service. Rev. Douglas P. Jones, officiating. Mrs. Carpenter will be laid to rest at Perry Mount Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
