Obituary

Carolyn Sue Dewberry of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on  April 26, 2018,  she was preceded in death by her parents,  the late Leroy & Carol D. Taylor.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Yolanda (Larry) Redmond, Steven Dewberry, Susan (Dale) Alexander, Gerald Dewberry, Ahmadu (Silvia) Laws, Bryan Dewberry, Wanda Ellis, the late;  Tammy Love, siblings; Juan Hamilton and the late;  Larea Hamilton.   Ms. Dewberry has fourty six  grandchildren & thirty nine great grandchildren, preceded in death by one grandson; Muwani Dewberry, Sr., she has two godchildren; Bernard Jones & Mary Alice, and a special friend, Robert Reavis.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Ms. Dewberry retired from Pontiac Motors with 28 years.   She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan, she served on the Sr. Usher Board.   She loved playing bingo and going to the casino.

Ms. Dewberry will lie in repose on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  From 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Ms. Dewberry's  celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 5, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church 318 Auburn Ave.,  Pontiac, Michigan.   The family  will meet with friends at 12:30 p.m.  at the church prior to the service.  Rev. Timothy Lawrence, officiating.  Ms. Dewberry will be laid to rest at Perry Mount Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
