Charles Henry Bender of Pontiac, Michigan, departed this life on September 24, 2023.  He was born in Bay Springs, Mississippi.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara J. Bender, siblings, Sandra Lynn Page and Gregory Bender.

After relocating to Pontiac, Michigan, he received his education in the Pontiac School System and graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1976.  Charles enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling and buying scratch-offs.

Charles leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Henry Bender, his siblings; Dale Bender, Victor Maurice Bender and Shaye (Lavonna SueSue) Bender.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will start at 11:00am.
