Iris Lynn Bryant and Charles Edward Prince were gifted on July 11, 1975, with a beautiful baby boy, Charles Leon Bryant.  He attended Pontiac Schools and graduated in 1994 from Pontiac Central High School.

In December 2010 Charles met and fell in love with his soulmate Erica Jordan and they were united in holy matrimony on August 1, 2018.  Charles loved his music and his family, from ballroom to stepping, he wouldn't miss a beat.  Charles was also an avid poker player.  Yet his joy was his children, nieces and nephews.  His children Rashaad and Jasmyne were the absolute delight of his world, to his jubilation Railynn Imari Bryant was born.  He had become a grandfather,  as he was effectionately called "Uncle Charles"by his nieces and nephews, and their friends, he proudly stood by and claimed that title.

After a brief illness, on Thursdsy, November 19, 2020 Charles was given permission to take his rest.  He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Erica Jordan Bryant; children, Rashaad Bryant and Jasmyne Johnson; granddaughter, Railynn Bryant; two sisters, Laurena Bryant of Fort Worth, Texas and Lillian Morris-Fowlkes of Auburn Hills, Michigan; two brothers, Albert (Doris) Morris of Columbus, GA., and Michael (Danielle) Morris of Pontiac, MI; mother-in-law, Helena Jordan; best friend and poker partner, John Fair; special cousins and lifelong friends, Kylie Wheat, Gary Bryant, David Wilson and Andria Hodges and a host of close, loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Iris L. Bryant; father, Charles E. Prince; special mother, Belia Morris and brother-in-law, Elder Lorenzo Fowlkes, Sr.

Mr. Bryant will lie in repose on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

As a global concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have a impact on our community, we are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of the families we serve and the community in general.  Some families are making the decision to postpone services while others have opted to move forward with a small gathering of close family and friends.

It is Cobb's Funeral Home policy, which lines up with the restrictions of our governor, Gretchen Whitmer, that all gatherings are limited to 20 people with a distance of 6 feet.
