Charles Edward Cato was born to the Late John H. Cato, Jr., and Anna L. Cato on November 24, 1947 in Marshall, Texas.

Charles was raised in Pontiac, Michigan as a young child.  He accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour and was a member at St. John United Methodist church.  He also served our country and honorably discharged from the United States Army and retired from Pontiac General Motors after 30 years.

Charles Edward Cato departed this life on March 25, 2023.  He leaves to cherish his memories; his siblings; Carolyn Cato (Charles Walker), Jerry, Roger (Patricia), Kerry, Joycelyn and Michael.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Charles Edward Cato will lie in repose on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:00am.
