Cleveland Edward Tademy, affectionately known as "Tiny" was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on August 13, 1948 to the late Cleveland G. and Lessie L. Tademy.  He was the second of six children. Cleveland departed this life on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital at the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother; Thomas Earl Tademy.

Cleveland accepted Christ at an early age at Trinity M.B.C.  He completed his education at Pontiac Central High School. Upon completion he worked at Oakland Hill Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.  During the early 70s he left the state of Michigan and moved to Texas and started working for the road commission.  In the late 70s Cleveland returned to Michigan and began working construction; Union Local 1076. After 30 years he retired.

Cleveland "Tiny" enjoyed watching CNN, ballroom dancing, traveling on the road, he loved his jazz music, working in the yard, various hobbies and spending time with family and friends.  He will be most remembered for his waves, smile, personality, hilarious sense of humor and his love for God.

Cleveland leaves to cherish his memory, life partner, Dennise Waire, sons; Lonell Waire and Duane Waire, brothers; Ray R. Jones II, Stanley J. Tademy (Cheri); sisters, Cythina L. Jones and Lessie C. Tademy.   Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, family hour will begin at 10:00am and service will start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
