Our beloved Coretta A. Bown of Auburn Hills, Michigan, departed this life on December 11, 2024, she was born in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Betty Myles and Winfred Jones Sr. she was preceded in death by Alvin Brown.

At an early age Coretta accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of New Mount Moriah in Pontiac, Michigan.  She graduated from Pontiac Northern High School.

Coretta enjoyed sewing and operating her clothing booth at the Dixieland flea market.  She loved traveling, and spending time with family and loved ones.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Son Christopher Brown, her daughters, Ayesha Brown, Carmela (Tony) Rice, her grandchildren Xavier Brown-lee, and Isabella Brown, her brother Fred "Tiger" (Michelle) Jones, her Aunt Flora Mae, and a host of beloved family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will immediately start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
