Daniel Lamont Miller was born on January 5, 1971 in Port Huron, Michigan to parents Fannie Mae Crenshaw and David Dawson Williams.  He attended Cleveland Elementary and Central Middle Elementary.

Growing up he enjoyed fishing with his parents, his mom played basketball and he enjoyed playing basketball with his mom.

Once Daniel moved to Pontiac, Michigan, he attended Pontiac Northern High School.  He joined the basketball team and took a cooking class.  Daniel loved watching westerns, he could watch westerns all day and rock in his favorite seat, he also like listening to music.  Daniel was a great provider and didn't miss a beat when it came to his family, he loved his family and children more than anything in the world, his passion was cooking and if he wasn't in a restaurant cooking, he was doing asphalt.

Daniel Lamont Miller departed this life on May 23, 2023, he was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Clarence and Charles, nephew; Ernest, Jr., and his babies Sylea and Destin.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children; Daniel, Jr., Anthony, Sylmaira, his love, Sylicia "Cee Cee", siblings; Veronica, Felicia (Ernest), Alkynea, Latina, Terrell, David, Kimberly (Lana), Latwayla, Aurlisa (Chris), Michelle (Donald), Chris (Melissa), Fawn, Sylvaira (Robert), Sylia (Mark) and Sylva (Robert) and mother-in-law; Sylvia.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will start at 11:00am and service will begin at 11:30am.
