Darold Anderson was born on April 3, 1958, in New Orleans, Louisiana to his parents Rose Mary Gibson and Augusta John Anderson.

He departed this life on October 13, 2026, at the age of 68.  Darold was proceeded in death by his parents Rosemary Gibson and Augusta John Anderson, his brothers, Avery Glenn Anderson Sr. and Steven Anderson and stepson Paul Pierce.

Darold was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Darold leaves to cherish in his precious memory his loving wife, Alona Joseph Anderson; his daughter, Deitra Pierce; his son, Lashon Allen; his stepdaughters, Adrienne Elam, Aleyah Joseph: and his stepson Travis Joseph.

He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Saint Savoie, Notaria Elam, Notoris Elam, Harlem Joseph.

Darold leaves to cherish his memory his beloved siblings: Rhonda Anderson Wiggins, Cynthia Anderson, Terrance Anderson, Stanley Anderson, and Angel Anderson Brown. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members.

Darold’s life was an important part of his family’s story. The moments spent together, the bonds formed, and the memories created will remain treasured for generations to come. Although he is no longer physically present, his memory will continue to live on through his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and all those whose lives he touched.
