Donald Murray passed away on October 7, 2026. He was born July 11, 1953, in Bryson City, North Carolina.

He moved to Pontiac, MI when he was a small child.  Donnie was a humble soul and loving father.  He graduated from Pontiac Central High School and later retired from General Motors.  He is also known for a good game of spades, playing chess and most of all bowling.

Donald was married to Deborah Murray, they met while attending Pontiac Central High School and were married on Jan 20, 1979.

Preceding him in death are his parents Joseph Sr. and Rosa Murray, son Donald King and siblings Larry Jackson, Vivian Gail Jackson, and James Murray.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories; his wife; Deborah Murray, children; Diane King, Dionne King, Keontae Adams and Rashaunda Campbell.  Siblings; Joseph Jr, Sharron and Debra ‘NuNu’ Murray. grandchildren Sean ‘Gerb’ Lockett, Jay’Soun Douglas, Diamond Murray, Noelle and Noah Cameron, Kyndall Russell-Adams, Shania King, Keontae Adams Jr., London Johnson and Lincoln Adams, Great Grandchildren Josiah and Sebastian Murray-Douglas.  Donald also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to keep his memory alive.
