Dorothy Mae Redmond, age 89, passed away June 8, 2024, in Rochester Hills, Michigan.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Alonzo and Lettie Turner, daughter; Terri Redmond, sisters; Betty Threlkeld, Barbara Metoyer, Carole Peet, and Johnnie Turner, brother; Charles Turner; and grandchildren; Tuesday II, Judah, and Patricia.

Dorothy's legacy lives on through her children: Cynthia, Andre (Gail), Bryan (Tuesday), David, and Sidra; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother; Marcus Turner, sisters; Annette Leonard and Sandra Turner, all of Pontiac, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dorothy will lie in state at Cobbs Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan. Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 12:00-5:00 PM.

Family hour is 10:30 AM Monday, June 17, 2024, at Welcome Missionary Baptist Church, 143 Oneida, with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00 AM. Pastor Douglas P. Jones officiating.  Interment will follow at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street.
