Dwayne Washington of Pontiac departed this life on May 23, 2018 He was preceded in death by his father the late  Rev. Jacob Washington, Sr, he leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Ida Mae Washingtom, his son, Dwayne Lamar Washington, his siblings; Donald (Cheryl) Washington of Silver Springs, Maryland,   Jacob Washington of Pontiac, Michigan and Kenneth (Brenda) Washington of Oxford, Michigan.


Mr. Washington was rasied and born in Pontiac, Michigan.  He  graduated from Pontiac Schools and worked for 3M Corporation. Dwayne was a Piston's & Lion's fan, he enjoyed fishing and attending vintage car shows.

Mr. Washington will lie in repose on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  From 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Mr. Washington's Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday,  May 30, 2018, at 11 a.m. at New Springfield Missionary Baptist Church 124 Prospect Ave., Pontiac, Michigan.   The family will meet with friends at 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Pastor William Parker, Jr. will be officiating.   Mr. Washington will be laid to rest at Perry Mount Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
