Earl Stephens Smith of Pontiac, Michigan, departed this life on July 11, 2023.  He was born on November 3, 1955 to the late, Theresa Annbelle Smith in Pontiac, Michigan.  He was the fifth of six children.

After he completed his GED he went on to receive a degree in Culinary Artist.  In the mid-80's, he was a tutor for the GED program.  Earl has a love for boxing and became a middleweight contending boxer better known as "Silk".

He leaves to cherish his memories, his brother; Freddy Smith, one nephew; Donnie Smith, one great-nephew; Antoine Smith, four nieces; Monique, Monica, Kassandra and Shay.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.   He will truly be missed and we would like to remember him as a warrior.   May he "Rest in Peace".

A Family & Friends Gathering will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  From 2:00pm until 6:00pm.
