Earnest Eugene Pittman, Sr. of Pontiac, Michigan was called home to the Lord on February 28, 2019 at the age of 84.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredro & Pauline Pittman, and Clem Bullock, siblings, Oliver Bullock, Willie Bullock, Dorothy Tody and Essie Cubia, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.   He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 65 years Rosa Juanita Pittman, children, Rosa (Earl) Mallory of Rochester Hills, MI, Wanda (Larry) Ruspus of Macomb Township, MI, LaTanya Pittman of Arlington, TX, Roger (Margaret) Pittman, Sr. of Pontiac, MI, Marleah (Gary) Rivers of Tucson, AZ, and Earnest Pittman, Jr. of Tucson, AZ, grandfather of twenty, great-grandfather of thirty-five, siblings Cile (John) Jefferson of Seaside, CA, Clemmie (Hazel) Bullock of Evans, GA, Helen (Joe) Abrams of Somerset, NJ, and Peggy Otis of Jackson, MS.  Earnest is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Earnest Eugene Pittman, Sr. was a faithful member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan and worked in the Food Pantry Ministry up until his illness.  He retired from General Motors Truck & Bus of Pontiac, Michigan.

Earnest Eugene Pittman, Sr. will lie in repose on Friday, March 8, 2019 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 174 Branch St., Pontiac, Michigan from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Mr. Earnest Eugene Pittman, Sr. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan.  The family will meet with the friends at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Earnest Eugene Pittman, Sr. will be laid to rest at Perry Mt Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
