Obituary

Mrs. Ella "Sis J." Louise (Howard) Jernagin was born on April 18, 1933 to the union of the late Hezekiah Howard and Mandy Head of Greenwood, Mississippi.

Ella Louise Jernagin (Howard) departed this life on January 25, 2020 she was preceded in death by her parents Hezekiah Howard and Mandy Head in Greenwood, Mississippi., her husband Othel Biggum Bell, Jernagin, Jr., two children, Othel Jernagin and Lue Zella Shockley, step-mother Lenora"Sister" Howard, siblings; Jimmy Lee, Booker T. Head, Jr.,  and Johnnie Mae, two son- in -laws; Michael McCathern and Luscious Shockley.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Willie (Janice) Jernagin, Palentine Henderson, Anthony Jernagin, Malvine McCathern, Diane Jernagin, Sylvia (James) Holt, and Cornelius Jernagin, siblings; Henry Lee in Mississippi., Harold Howard in Germany., Willie (Sherry), Dwayne (Marie), Dennis (Normeta), Christopher Howard and Sheryl Howard both of  Detroit. , 68 grandchildren, 124 great-grandchildren, 68 great great-grandchild.  Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and other loving relatives and friends

Ms. Jernagin will lie in repose on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.   In honor of Ella Louise Jernagin a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Eastside Church of Christ 149 Martin Luther King, Blvd., Pontiac, Michigan, family hour will start at 10:00 a.m.
