Emma Delores Kemp of Troy, MI departed this life on March 11, 2018. She is the loving wife of James Kemp; the beautiful daughter of the late Eugene and Beatrice Sims; the mother of Raquell Fuller, Kyeorda Kemp (Jesse Chvojka) and Pamela (Troy) German; the grandmother of Arkesha Jenkins, Lakeya Jenkins, Micah Chvojka, Jonah Chvojka and Ella Chvojka. Mrs. Kemp is the sister of Gertrude Campbell, Rosie Howard, Shirley Douglas and the late Eugene Sims. She is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends. Mrs. Kemp was a member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, MI. She was an Educator for Pontiac Public Schools; she retired after over 20 years of dedicated service.

Mrs. Emma Delores Kemp will lie in repose on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 69 S. Astor St., Pontiac, MI. from 1pm until 8pm. Mrs. Kemp's Celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11am at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, MI. Pastor Al Terrell, officiating. The family will meet with friends at 10:30am at the church prior to the service. Mrs. Kemp will be laid to rest at Perry Mount Park Cemetery of Pontiac, MI.
