Eudora Lee Russell of Pontiac, Michigan, was born in Wiville, Arkansas on October 31, 1946, to Mary Magdalene (Shackeflord) Bell and Joseph W. Bell, Sr.  She departed this life on April 10, 2024, she was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; Marlene Bell, and Joseph W. Bell, Jr.

Eudora attended Cotton Plant High School in Arkansas, following her marriage to Lawrence J. Russell, Sr., she moved to Columbus, Ohio, where they brought their son into the world.  Years later she returned to her home in Pontiac, Michigan, where she resided with her brother Joseph Jr., and her family.

She worked at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, MI., for 10 years, attended Baker's College, majoring in Nursing and took Law courses, later, attended Cosmetology School, Pontiac, MI., and she an active member as an Eastern Star until her health became compromised.  Eudora was later remarried to Arthur Fair, however the marriage ended suddenly due to illness and untimely demise.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son; Lawrence Russell, Jr., siblings; Anthony (Rose) Bell, Rubin Bell, Darlene (Gerald) Pogue, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Ms. Russell will lie in repose on Frday, April 19, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, MI., from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00am at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church 351 Prospect St. Pontiac, Michigan, Rev. Derrick McDonald, officiating, family hour will begin at 10:30am.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
