Frank James Jackson, Jr., was born on June 16, 1965 to Frank and Rebecca Jackson in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the oldest of 2 children born to this union.

Litte Frank as he was effectionately known, his family moved to Pontiac, Michigan where he was educated in the Pontiac School System.

Little Frank accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour at an early age.  Later in life he joined Woodside Bible Church here in Pontiac, Michigan., where he served faithfully in any capacity he could, especially in the kitchen.

Little Frank loved to cook, he served as a Chief in many ways.  He was also an avid fisherman, he fished every chance he got.  Little Frank also loved and spoiled his one and only grandson.  As life would have it, he had many challenges, but he faced each challenge with strength, humility and his faith in God.  On June 6, 2020, the Lord saw that Little Frank was getting weak and knew that his job here was finished.  The Lord spoke to Little Frank and said, my good and faithful servant, come unto me and rest.  Little Frank did as the Lord commanded and went to sleep, bidding no one a final goodbye or I love you.

Little Frank was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sally Jackson and his mother, Rebecca Jackson.

Little Frank leaves to cherish his memory, sons; Frank Jackson, III, and Jermaine Jackson, father, Frank (Mary) Jackson, Sr., sister; Wanda Jackson, brothers; Kemeno Smith, Orlando Gibson, Bishop Antonio Gibson, Angelo Gibson, LeVoy Garner, grandson; Anthony Jackson, 4 aunties, 1 uncle, niece; Necole Jackson, nephew; Kevin Jackson.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends

A Family Gathering will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.   Internment will precede at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.

As a global concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have a impact on our community, we are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of the families we serve and the community in general.  Some families are making the decision to postpone services while others have opted to move forward with a small gathering of close family and friends.

It is Cobb's Funeral Home policy, which lines up with the restrictions of our governor, Gretchen Whitmer, that all gatherings are limited to 10 people with a distance of 6 feet.
