Gary Willie Cooper of Pontiac, Michigan, made his transition on October 4, 2025.  He was born on October 14, 1946 to the late, William and Annie Laura Cooper, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.  He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters; Frances, Dean, Edna, Cora, Helen and Mamie, and his son; Gary Cooper, Jr.

Gary graduated from Aliquippa High School, he also played football at the High School.  He relocated to Pontiac, Michigan, and met and married the love of his life, Ruby Cooper his wife of 51 years until his death.

Gary retired from Ford Motor Company, he enjoyed eating good food and loved taking care of his yard, and receiving Pride Beatification Certificates and signs for his yard.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife; Ruby Cooper, his children; Tamu of Pennsylvania, Sean of S. Carolina and Troy of Pennsylvania, step-children; Roy, Paul, Mitzi and Debbie.  Also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 11:30am and the service will start promptly at 12:00pm.
