Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 1:30 P.M., Pastor Glenn Alan Chappell made his heavenly transition from earth to Glory.  Glenn Chappell came into this world on December 19, 1959, to proud parents William Henry and Johnnie Mae Chappell.

Glenn was a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of General Studies Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Communications Arts.  He also earned a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching and Elementary Social Science from Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan.

Pastor Chappell was preceded in death by his parents the late, William Henry and Johnnie Mae Chappell, siblings; Lolita Marie Townsend and Lionel Cornelius Townsend.  Waiting for him at the door of heaven is his son and namesake, Caleb Alan Chappell.

Pastor Chappell leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Karen Denise Chappell, siblings; Clarence Henry Chappell, Michael Anthony (Tamika) Chappell and LaMonica Townsend.  Nephews; Christian Quinton and Michael Anthony Chappell, II.  Sisters-in-law; Elizabeth Woodward and Janet Hanna.  Nieces and nephews, Ezra, David, Everlee, and Candace (Sean) Lawler), Leslie Woodward and Crystal (Donald) Woodward-Turner, his beloved Zion Refuge Church family.  He also leaves a host of family and friends.

Pastor Chappell will lie in repose on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

Celebration of Life and Legacy will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Woodside Bible Church 830 Auburn Ave, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 9:30AM and the service will promptly start at 10:00AM.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
