Gwendolyn Vivian Harrison-Long of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on May 21, 2019,  she was preceded in death by her parents Charlie James, Sr. Harrison &  Mariah Harrison also her brother,  Charlie James  Harrison, Jr.,   She leaves to cherish her memories her children;  Terry Johnson, Stephen Dennis Long, Kenneth Eugene Long, Claudia D. Hudson, Melvin Brian Long, Gwen Annette Preston, Marion J. Brady,  twenty-five grandchildren,  fourty-two great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Mother Gwendolyn Vivian Harrison Long was affectionately called "Granny".   She worked at General Motors in the Sanitation Department.  She was a member and attended Anderson Memorial Church of God In Christ of Detroit, Michigan, where she served on the Nurses Guild and the President of the Usher Board.

Ms. Harrison-long will lie in repose on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Gwendolyn Vivian Harrison-Long's Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Anderson Memorial C.O.I.G.C. 17860 Joseph Campau Ave., , Detroit, Michigan.  The family will meet with friends at 10:30 a.m. at the Church prior to the service.   Pastor Charles Johnson,  III, officiating,  Ms. Harrison-long will be laid to rest at Perry Mt  Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
