Helen Cherrie Milton of Pontiac, Michigan, departed this life on September 24, 2023, she was born on January 31, 1943 to the union of the late, Lavon and Johnie Bea Milton, in Mccomb, Mississippi, where she received all of her education.

Helen relocated to Pontiac, Michigan starting a new life, she married William Milton and started a family, raising two boys and two girls.  She gain employment threw Pontiac General Motors and retired after 30 years.

Helen loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed attending all of the family gatherings, she also enjoyed going to the casino and traveling.  She was a member of New Experience Church of Christ under Bishop Antonio Gibson.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; William Milton, son; Larry Milton, siblings; Thomas Tate, Bob Earl Tate, Nigeal Shaw and Pamela Tate.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her children; Debra Milton, Stephen (Kiesha) Milton, and Tracy Milton, siblings; Mary Martin, Michael Tate and Marquette (Elaine) Tate, grandchildren; Moniqua Milton, Makonya Milton and Cynteria Charles.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Ms Milton will lie in repose on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at New Experience Church of Christ 575 E. Pike St., Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at New Experience Church of Christ 575 E. Pike St., Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will start at 11:00am.  Bishop  Antonio Gibson, officiating.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
