Deacon Hildrew Williams was born on December 28, 1943 to Charlie Williams and Mariah Patterson in Haynesville, Alabama.  Deacon Hidrew of Pontiac, Michigan, made his transition on May 9, 2024, surrounded with his family.

Hildrew did all his schooling in Alabama and would later return to his high school to have one of his proudest moments at his 50th high school reunion at Central High School formerly known as Lowndes County training center.

After graduation he relocated to Michigan for employment in the automotive industry.
Hildrew was employed at General Motors as a skill tradesman in Pontiac, MI.  He worked numerous hours at various jobs but he would go on and retire as a fire-fighter after 43 Years at General Motors.

Hildrew leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Linda Williams, daughter Tammy (Antoine) McCoy, sons; Kevin (Stacy) Williams and Otho Scarborough.  Grandchildren; D'Quan Thompson, Austin Williams, Kevin Drew Williams, Jeneal (Kwame) Everett, Antoine McCoy Jr., Demetria Scarborough, great-grandchildren; Zoie, Hailey, Holly, Haisley, Kimora, Kamia, sisters; Annie (James) Booth, Velma (James) Smith, and Erma Lee Clay;  niece  Veneta (Leo) Williams; great niece Paige Wilson and nephew Mark (Lisa) Holland and a host of nieces and nephews.

Hildrew was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Williams and Mariah Patterson, brother, Charles Williams and Daughter, Prentella Robinson.

Deacon Hidrew will lie in repose on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm.

Celebration of his life & Legacy will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church 15 Mark Ave, Pontiac, Michigan, Rev. David Thompson, officiating.  Family hour will begin at 10:30am and the service will promptly start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
