Jaclyn Turner of Waterford, Michigan, was born to the late Rev. Lee and Rita Turner in Pontiac, Michigan on May 13th 1977.  She peacefully transitioned on May 2, 2025, she was preceded in death by her parents and a special cousin/sister; Adrienne Denise Turner.

Jaclyn, accepted Christ at an early age at the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Alvin Hawkins.  She was extremely active in church until her health began declining,  Jaclyn was educated in the Pontiac School System, she also attended Grinnell College where she studied abroad (London England) where she majored in English.  Upon her graduation Jaclyn returned home to Pontiac and became a substitute teacher in the Pontiac School District.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her sister Rita, brothers; Leon Wilson (Evvie), Lee Turner (Stephanie), aunts that were like her mother, Martha Turner and Connie Nunn,  her uncle and friend Roy A Wilcox jr..  Jaclyn is also survived by a host of family members.

Jaclyn will lie in repose on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm  -  6:00pm.

Celebration of Jaclyn Turner Life will be held on Friday, May, 16, 2025, at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church 250 Fisher St. Pontiac, Michigan, Rev. Lee Turner, officiating and Rev. Dr. Rodney Tolbert, host pastor.  Family hour will begin at 10:00am and service will start immediately at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery 878 N. Perry St. Pontiac, MI.
