Jacob "Smitty" Smith of Pontiac, Michigan, was born on December 26, 1946 in Bay Springs Mississippi.  Fell asleep in death February 14, 2023, he was the son of the late Cussan Ducksworth.

Beloved husband of Marlene Janet Smith, brother of Jerry Lee Quince and his only nephew Jamal.  Also survived by a host of brothers, sisters, other loving relatives and his best friend Robert Ellis whom he loved.

Jacob worked for over 30 years at Truck and Bus, after retirement he started Pioneering telling any one who would listen about Jehovah's Kingdom, which is a real Government.  He served as an Elder at the North Pontiac congregation.  He loved working around the hall and playing bid whiz, but most of all he loved sharing the bible, hope for Mankind's problems today that is Jehovah's Kingdom Government.

I look forward when I can see my dear husband and my son's Tito and Puni again. When Isaiah 33;24 will be fulfilled "No residents will say I am sick".

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00pm at Bay Strret Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Hall 552 Bay St., Pontiac, Michigan.
