James Arthur Ellison of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on May 17, 2018.  Mr. Ellison is the husband of Margaret Dianne Ellison and the son of the late Robert Lee and Ovella Ellison. Mr. Ellison is the father of Andre Ellison, Donta (Mia) Hamilton, Jamese Ellison, Stephon (Arin) Lester, Timothy (Albertina) Lester, Roger (Nicole) Randolph, Overdis Warren and Roshanda Warren. He is preceded in death by siblings; Bertha Ellison and Charlie Ellison. Mr. Ellison leaves to cherish his memory, along with his children, siblings; Robert (Juanita) Ellison, Jr., Willie (Mildred) Ellison, John Ellison, Dock Ellison, Hamilton (Carolyn) Ellison, Lois (Roy) Williams, Marilyn Ellison and a host of other loving relatives and
friends. Mr. Ellison was a memberof Messiah Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Ellison will lie in repose on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Cobb Funeral Home, 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan 48341 from 12:00 pm until 8:00pm. The celebration of Mr. James Arthur Ellison's life will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 11:00am. The service will be held at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church, 15 Mark Street, Pontiac Michigan 48341. The Family will receive friends from 10:30am - 11:00am at the Church prior to the service.
