James Dean Reed of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on May 16, 2018.  Mr. Reed is the husband of Norma Reed and the son of the late Ollie and Georgia Anne Reed. Mr. Reed is the father of Donna K. (Robert) Forbes, Mark Wright and Diana Reed. He is preceded in death by sibling; George Reed. Mr. Reed leaves to cherish his memory, along with his children, siblings; Antion Reed, Charlie (Curtis) Young, Nora (Grady) Shadrick, Benny (Eartha Fay) Reed, Linda (Larry) Trotter and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Mr. Reed is retired from the General Motors Corporation.

Mr. Reed will lie in repose on Sunday May 20, 2018 at Cobb Funeral Home, 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan 48341 from 12:00 pm until 5:00pm.
