James Douglas Williams of Rochester Hills, Michigan, was born on March 12, 1958, to the union of the late; Bessie Lee Johnson and Joe Lewis Williams in Brooklyn, New York.  He departed this life on March 6, 2025, surrounded with family.

James attended Elementary, Middle and High school in New York, then he moved to Maryland, where he finished high school and then he enlisted into the Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Gina Williams, children, Matthew and Jessica Williams, siblings; Gwendolyn, Debra and Joe.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, four sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, and other loving relatives and friends, who will miss him greatly, but rest assured that he is no longer suffering.  "May his soul rest in peace"

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will promptly start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
