Janet Inez Bushell was born on April 1, 1968, to the union of the late Bennie N. Bushell, Jr. and late Jean Elizabeth Bushell (Crisp) in Pontiac, Michigan.  She departed this life on July 17, 2024.

Janet attended Pontiac Northern High School and graduated in 1986. Janet also attended Oakland Community College.  She was employed in customer service for five years.
Janet attended Johnson Memorial Church of God in Christ with her mother and accepted Christ.  She loved to cook especially desserts during the holidays, she enjoyed shopping with Sierra for hours at a time and loved to spend time eating out at Red Lobster and other restaurants with her daughter.

She leaves to cherish in her memory; one daughter, Sierra Jordan (Michigan); three brothers, Ray A. Bushell (California), Bennie E. Bushell (Florida), and Leonard Bushell (North Carolina); one sister, Lorraine D. Boone (Michigan).

She was preceded in death by her eldest brother, Jonnie Ray Bushell, eldest sister Faye Elizabeth Evans, younger sister Patricia Ann Bushell.

She loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed being with them including Derrick Walker II, Jeremiah Evans, Jonathan Evans, Savannah Boone, Clarence Boone III, Parrish Bushell, and Devin Bushell.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Elder Aaron D. Dorkins, officiating, family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will immediately start at 10:30am.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, MI.
