Janette "Gerome Marie Carol" Ellison-Goode of Pontiac, Michigan, departed this life on December 4, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her son; Rashad Goode and stepfather; Cat Johnson.

Janette received her education through the Pontiac School System.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading, her favorite book was the Bible.  She enjoyed doing puzzles, diamond art and playing uno with her grandchildren, love to travel and has been many places, cooking was a hobby and love spending time with her family and close friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her son; Gregory (Sasha) Goode, grandchildren; Zachariah and Zariah, parents; Barbara Johnson and Jerry Ellison, sisters; Patricia "Trish" (Lamar) Walker, Anita "Nene" (Rico) Bradley, Monica "Monnie" Ellison, Carnisha Byrd and brother; Eugene Arnold.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church 345 Bagley St. Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will immediately start at 10:30am.  Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
