Mr. Jerry Gholston was born on December 22, 1945 in Mt. Meigs, Alabama.  He departed this life on April 6, 2019, he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Joshua Gholston & Willie Francis Robinson and his wife, Brenda Gholston.  Jerry relocated to Pontiac, Michigan 50 years ago.

Jerry attended Georgia Washington School.

Jerry was a former prep Supervisor at Unique Fabricating in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Jerry enjoyed fishing, his dogs, and spending time with his family in the backyard as he cooked on the grill.

Jerry was blessed with three children; Arenthia (Timothy) Brothers, Terrell Gholston, Sr., Jerry Oneal Gholston and his special friend Katrina Soriano.

Jerry's radiant smile and cooking will be greatly missed.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, three children; ten grandchildren and four greatchildren.

Jerry also leaves his siblings; Julietta Thomas, Mary Pickett, Roosevelt (Lisa) Tatum, Jacqueline Tatum, Gregory (Loretta) Robinson,  Barbara Robinson, Annette Tatum, Bridgett Robinson, Arnold Goshton, Brenda Goshton, Calvin Goshton, Valeria Goshton, Joshua (Evelyn) Stroud, Jr.,  Ivory (Dutchess) Goshton, Lashanta (Lee Anthony) Osberry, Dorothy Malone, Johnny Goshton and the late, Garry & Prentella Robinson.  Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Jerry Gholston will lie in repose on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Mr. Jerry Gholston's Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home.  The family will meet with friends at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel.  He will be laid to rest at Perry Mt Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
