Jerry Don Stephens, Sr. of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan departed this life on January 20, 2019.  Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katie Mae Stephens, Siblings; Florida Mae (Henry) Brown, Jewel Stephens, John Percy Stephens (J.P.),  Herman (Marie) Stephens, Edward (Dannie) Stephens, Alton Stephens and Susie Stephens.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 53 years, Elberta Stephens, his children; Jerry (Jacqueline) Stephens, Jr., Kwame (Dawn) Stephens, Khalfani (Alicia) Stephens, grandchildren, Tchernavia, Nicholas, Nelson, Anaya, Julius, Alyssa and Phillip, one great grandchild, Za'Kearria;  godchildren, Juwan Williams, Maya Woods, Marlon Woods, Eric Byers and Ti'ara Brown, siblings, Willie Gray Thompson, Arthur (Velma) Stephens, Sr., Della Finley and Ruby (Sam) Robinson,  sister-in-law; Bertha Stephens, brother-in- law; Alfred (Buena) Marshall, George Marshall, Larry (Anita) Marshall and Timothy Marshall. Two Very Special Friends; Charles Lee and Lewis "Ronnie" McNeir.  He is also survived by a host of neices, nephews, aunts, uncles other family and friends.

He will lie in repose on Friday, January 25, 2019 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Pontiac, Michigan from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.   Jerry Don Stephens, Sr. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 174 Branch St., Pontiac, Michigan.  The family will meet with friends at 10 a.m. at the church prior to the service.  Jerry Don Stephens, Sr. will be laid to rest at Perry Mt Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
