Jessica Marie Johnson-Kirkland was born on March 9th, 1983 at St. Joseph Mercy   Hospital to Delaine L. Stewart and Ernest Johnson Sr., she made her transition on   February 3, 2024.

Jessica grew up in Pontiac, MI and attended Pontiac Northern High School.  Then later proceeded to get her G.E.D.  She was loved by many and was a strong outgoing creative person.  She loved cooking, playing basketball, dancing, and getting dressed up.  Jessica stole the hearts of anyone she knew, and could always make people feel better with her hugs and bright smile.  She also enjoyed laughing, cracking jokes, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jessica leaves to cherish, daughters; Jada Rogers, Jiara, Jamilliah, JaNia, and Jordyn Cooley, sons; Joseph Smith, JaBoree, and JaKyree, sisters; Jolinda (Leon) Mims, Chermayne White, Latwanda Johnson and Wanda Johnson, brothers; Leonard Curtaindol, William Johnson, Scott Johnson and Stephen Stewart, grandchildren; Morgan,  A'mour, Caison, Caibre, and Ja' Kobe, and a host of siblings, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband Bobby Kirkland, mother Delaine L. Stewart and father Ernest Johnson Sr., grandmother; Jessie Lee Stewart, sisters; Maria Crawford, Sadie and Rose Marie Brown, and Stephanie Johnson, aunts; Willie Murl Cooley-Cole, and Carolyn Cooley, uncle; Charles Reeves. The family would like to give thanks for the sympathy and donations received.

Jessica Marie Johnson-Kirkland will lie in repose on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00PM until 4:00PM.
