Joe Henry Simmons  ("Dr. J") of Pontiac, Michigan departed this life on April 1, 2023.  Mr. Simmons will lie in repose on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan from 1:00pm until 7:00pm.  Immediately following a repast will be held at the Bowen Center 52 Bagley St. in Pontiac, Michigan from 2:00pm until 8:00pm.  (Across the street from the Funeral Home)

Internment will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00am at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac Michigan on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11am.
