Johnnie Donaldson Keyes Jr was born August 25, 1954 in Camp Lejune, North Carolina to the union of the late; Johnnie Donaldson Keyes Sr. and Johnnie Mae (Pugh) Keyes.  He transitioned on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Trinity Health in Pontiac, Michigan.

Johnnie attended Dartmouth College and from there he enlisted into the Air Force.  He was passionate about, playing chess, ballroom dancing, shooting pool and making people laugh.

Johnnie leaves his cherish memories to his children; Andre (Julie) Rogers, LeVitta (Marvin) Rogers-Beasley, Rochelle (Bryan) Knight, Amad Rogers, Karim Long and Siobahn Rogers, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters Donna Patton and Gail Manning. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Johnnie will lie in repose on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan, from 12:00pm- 4:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 12:00pm, at Cobb's Funeral Home Chapel 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  Bishop Antonio Gibson, officiating, family hour will begin at 11:00am.
