Joyce Mae Frezzell (Peterson) was born on December 6, 1941, in Filbert, Pennsylvania to the late John Peterson and Emma Barnes-Peterson.  She made her transition on Saturday, December 9, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings; John Peterson, Jr., Beverly Williams and Alex Peterson.

Joyce graduated from from Redstone High School in Republic, Pennsylvania with honors.  She also was a Dean list graduate from Pontiac Business Institute.  She retired from her job as an Accounting Representative from Pontiac Motors Division.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters; Eileen (Eddie) Reese and Daria (Kevin) Preacher, son; George Frezzell, Jr., brothers; Richard Peterson and Tony Peterson, grandchildren; Shantay Reese, Dominique Black and Kevin Preacher, Jr., special friends; Pat Preacher and Maria McDonald.  Also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will begin at 10:00am and the service will start at 11:00am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
