Joyce Marie White was born on August 1, 1949, in Pontiac, Michigan to the union of Nathaniel and Eula White.  She was the fourth of ten children.  Joyce was educated through the Pontiac Central High School.

Joyce loved cooking, baking, listening to music, watching television programs and movies.  She retired from General Motors, Lake Orion Plant after 30 plus years of service.

God called Joyce home on Sunday, August 16, 2020 to be with her parents, Nathaniel and Eula White, siblings, Alvin Clark, Rosemary Clark, Tyrone White, Terry White, her dog Ace other relatives who all preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory,  her daughter, LaQuanda White, siblings, Patricia Gill, Valrie White, Ronald White, Brenda White and Deborah White all of Pontiac, Michigan, two sisters-in-law, Allie Clark and Carla White, two special special family friends, Pauline Clark and Alice White.  Also survived by a host of special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends

Ms. White will lie in repose on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home, family hour will start at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.

As a global concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19) begins to have a impact on our community, we are taking necessary steps to ensure the safety of the families we serve and the community in general.  Some families are making the decision to postpone services while others have opted to move forward with a small gathering of close family and friends.

It is Cobb's Funeral Home policy, which lines up with the restrictions of our governor, Gretchen Whitmer, that all gatherings are limited to 20 people with a distance of 6 feet.
