Obituary

Julius Ray Hollis of El Paso, Texas and formerly of Pontiac ,Michigan passed away in Austin, Texas on Thursday, June 23, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Hollis, Sr., and Sophia Hollis and his brother, Michael Hollis.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Lupita Hollis, two children, LaQuinda Crawford and Cordarrell Hollis, Sr; four grandchildren, two brothers, John Hollis, Jr., and David Hollis, two sisters, Aletha (Javen) Moore and Donna ( David) Thompson, one sister-in-law, Janice Hollis, two uncles, Dr. Fred (Sylvia) Shorter and William Baldwin, Jr., one aunt, Mary Edmond.  Also survived by the mother of his children Elizabeth Newbern, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.

Mr. Hollis will lie in repose on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan from 1 p..m. until 7 p.m.

Funeral services for Julius Ray Hollis will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road in Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will start at 10:30 a.m. and Internment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery in Pontiac, Michigan.
