Julius "Shorty" Jenkins, age 88, of Pontiac, Michigan, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 28, 2025, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 65 years, Emma Jenkins; his parents; Herbert and Acey Jenkins, his son, Kenneth Jenkins; his siblings Harrel Jenkins, Farrel Jenkins, Humilton Jenkins, Ruth Jenkins, Lilian Jefferson, and Helen Ratcliff; and his beloved granddaughter, Charnae Jenkins.

Julius is survived by his loving daughter, Linda (Anthony) Simpson of Pontiac, MI, his sons, Rodney Jenkins, Sr. and Rodney Jenkins, Jr., both of Pontiac, MI.  His legacy continues through 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Mr. Jenkins will lie in repose on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road, Pontiac, Michigan, from 3:00pm until 8:00pm.

Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church 318 Auburn Ave, Pontiac, Michigan.  Family hour will start at 10:00am and services will begin at 10:30am.  Interment will be held at Perry Mount Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Michigan.
